The sand mill converts the chemical energy into the crushing energy of the raw materials according to the milling. The basic principle is to rely on the friction, cutting and impact in the middle of the milling to disperse and crush the raw material particles. The relative density, strength, particle size and filling rate of the mill directly endanger the grinding efficiency of the sand mill.
1. Relative density
Relative density is expressed in relative density and apparent density in general documents. The content and percent composition of various compounds determined the relative density of zirconia beads.
In general, the larger the relative density of zirconia beads, the greater the mechanical energy caused by the rotation of the sand mill, and the higher the high grinding efficiency. The size of the zirconia beads determines the point contact between the bead string and the raw material. The larger the point contact of the bead string with the same particle size, the greater the reasonable frequency of impact during the entire milling process. The higher the grinding efficiency, the higher the efficiency.
4. Effective filling rate
The filling rate of zirconia beads is the total number of grinding beads that the sand mill needs to disperse the actual effect of grinding. If the filling rate of the grinding beads is too high, it is very easy to cause the internal temperature of the sand mill to rise.
The filling rate of the milling beads is too low, the milling efficiency is low, and the dielectric loss is large. Therefore, the effective filling rate is one of the key factors to improve the high efficiency of zirconia beads milling.
