Zirconia balls are produced from rare earth yttrium oxide plus zirconia powder as raw materials, and are produced in the process of mixing, pulverizing, grinding (slurry, clay), molding, drying and sintering. They are mainly grinding media and are used as ball milling equipment. As long as the grinding products in the production and processing are not only widely used, but also comprehensively reduce the cost in power consumption, labor and equipment. It has been widely used in different types of ceramic, enamel, glass, chemical and other factories for thick and hard materials and deep processing, especially in the field of high-purity fine processing.
Zirconia ball has the characteristics of high strength and high toughness, good wear resistance, high temperature corrosion resistance, high rigidity, non-magnetic conductivity and electrical insulation at room temperature. Because of its many advantages, it is widely used in various fields. Usually there are these substances below, Y-TZP grinding balls, dispersing and grinding media, nozzles, ball valve ball seats, zirconia molds, micro fan shafts, fiber optic pins, fiber optic sleeves, drawing dies and cutting tools, wear-resistant knives, Cases and straps, light bats for golf balls and other room temperature wear parts. Therefore, zirconia ceramic accessories such as zirconia balls are being widely used in thermal barrier coatings, catalyst carriers, refractories, textiles and other fields.
Precautions for use:
1. Select suitable products according to the capacity of the sand mill, the viscosity of the slurry and the gap between the inlet and outlet. When using, first clean up the inside of the sand mill, and measure whether the viscosity of the slurry meets the requirements, and check whether the gap between the inlet and outlet of the sand mill and the speed ratio are appropriate.
2. For the first application, pre-grind for 30 minutes in epoxy resin and organic solvent slurry with required viscosity. If a lower concentration slurry is used for pre-grinding, the speed ratio must be reduced and the actual operation time should be controlled within 15 minutes.
3. Due to long-term grinding, a small amount of products will be crushed under high-speed collision. Therefore, after a period of time, the part needs to be filled. When filling, use a stainless steel mesh to screen out the crushed ones, and then add the same weight as the crushed ones.
4. When grinding paint, use epoxy resin to clean it. If organic solvents must be used, the speed ratio needs to be reduced, and the actual operation time is controlled within 10 minutes. The net editor proposes to use "on-off" intermittent cleaning.
5. Under the condition that the particle size of the finished product will not change, if you want to increase the grinding time of zirconia balls, or when the particle size cannot exceed the specified time within the required time, it needs to be filled appropriately.
